This is a smooth set of grips, with a small Llama logo molded into the grip panels, to fit the Llama IX-B compact version of the IX-A 45 (also 38 Super and 9mm calibers). It is similar to but not the same as the Colt 1911. Grips do NOT interchange.

The grips are mounted by the original screws, two per panel. The top area of one grip panel is relieved to clear controls but you might have to take out s small additional amount for your particular gun. This is easy to do with a Dremel "MotoTool" or any similar rotary bit grinder.

The logo can be replaced easily with a 5/8-inch or larger medallion, such as one of the various star medallions listed. The closed back bronze star, silver star, open star in large or small version, Texas star in large or small version, are all good choices for these grips.

Order the medallion you want from the drop down menu above and two of them will be installed, one per grip, included in the cost of the medallions.

These smooth grips are especially nice with the pearl effects, which are translucent and show depth and pattern far better than on a checkered grip.
