EMF
EMF is Early and Modern Firearms Company, established in 1956 to distribute and then manufacture the Great Western revolvers, but
also imports other brands and distributes some guns produced in the USA. E.M.F. is primarily an importer and distributor rather
than a manufacturer. It is still in business as of this writing.
PLEASE NOTE: There are small variations in the size and shape of the same models. There is more than one grip listed for Virginian Dragoons, for example.
All of the grips listed for the gun will fit at least ONE version or variation, depending on when it was made, what company was contracting the frame parts, and so forth
But NONE of the grips listed will fit ALL of the same model of gun!
Don't just read the title and think "It fits every single Virtinian Dragoon ever made!" because that is not
the case. Measure your gun. Compare the dimensions listed. If the dimensions of the grip are the same or larger than your gun frame, make a tracing of your frame and cut it out to produce a pattern or template that fits your gun. Then mail that in with a letter that includes your order number.
If you make a pattern out of an index card (recipe card) that actually fits on your gun just like the grip, I can use it to check various grips and make sure that the one
I send you matches your tracing or pattern. Otherwise, if you just order by model name without doing any measurement or making a pattern for me, all I can do is send what you order.
I can't guarantee anything about the size and shape of your particular gun, since I don't have it. All I can guarantee is that the grip you ordered will fit at least ONE of
the variations of your gun, since it obvious has done so before. But not necessarily the gun you own. Only you can guarantee that by sending an accurate template.
