Grips for Freedom Arms revolvers
Freedom Arms revolvers have a well-deserved reputation for high quality. Freedom Arms revolver grips are individually fitted at the factory. If you stop and think about that, you'll realize that
if the factory doesn't have one stock size that fits all of a certain model, then there must be some variation in the
grip frame dimensions or shape from one to another. That means, if you want to get a set of grips that actually fits, you
will need to send a tracing or template so I can make sure that the grips I send will be big enough, all around, for proper fitting. Or, you will need to check the dimensions carefully and determine for yourself if the grip you order is
large enough for your grip frame. There is box you can check to let me know if you are sending a tracing, or if I should
just ship what you order and not wait for a tracing to arrive. Bear in mind that if you don't send me a tracing of your grip, I have no way to tell if the grip you order actually fits your gun -- you have to measure and compare, and be responsible if
you don't order the size that matches. (See "terms of sale" for info about warranty with and without tracing.)
WARNING! The SAME model numbers can have DIFFERENT size/shape of grip frames! Be SURE to compare dimensions carefully, or send a good tracing on a 3 x 5 index card around your existing grips. If you just go by the model number, you will probably get the wrong shape or size for your gun! Note that the different models
each have their own features, so if you order a staghorn or a rounded base or a finger-groove model but your tracing matches
a model that does not have those features, I can't magically change the mold so it has them. I'll need to contact you and
find out if you want the grip which fits even though it may be different in design from the one you ordered, or if you want to cancel the order, or if you want to wait until I have enough demand
to make a new mold that both fits the outline you sent and also has the features of the grip you ordered.
Stock items (medallions, screws, specials) usually ship within 10 days.
I can't promise a specific ship date, as it will vary with circumstances. Depending on the time of year and number of orders pending, average time to finish a grip order is 30 to 90 days. That's average, not a guarentee. They are all individually made to your specific order.
If you do not have time to wait then you may want to consider not ordering. I can only produce quality grips if I take the time necessary to finish your order
Be SURE to read the TERMS of SALE page, so you KNOW what you are getting.
