These smooth grips are thicker than factory versions, for people with larger hands. They give more comfortable control for the .45 and .40 caliber guns especially. Please note that the grips are made so that the bottom hole can be drilled to suit your particular gun. The hole spacing sometimes varies a bit, from about 2.95 to 3.05 inches center to center.

If you send a template or tracing with the hole centers accurately marked, or just specify the center to center distance on your gun's screw holes, these grips can then be made so that the holes match exactly.

Please note: The right grip is thicker than the left on on purpose. Right handed shooters seem to prefer that the right grip fill their palm better, while leaving some material so you can sand in finger grooves if you wish. If you want to make the grip thinner, simply sand the back to achieve desired thickness, the same as any flat-backed grip.
