Blanks are the various semi-shaped or partially formed shapes for making grips. They are not just blocks of rectangular shape, but have some shape that makes them more easily used for producing certain kinds of grips. This category is between a "block" or rectangle of material, and a "generic" shaped grip, which is itself an oversized shape that might in a few cases actually be pretty close to a semi-finished grip kit. The terms include parts that have some overlap. I separated the ones that are not actual blocks, and could be considered generic grips, into this group. If you want to make a grip and start with something that is more nearly completed, but not quite to the exact shape or size yet, this is a good choice. Easier to do than using a block.
