The S&W J-Frame round butt grip fits such guns as the Chief Special Model 60, and similar small frame Smiths. This grip is made for the older versions including some of the early .38 top break models. Please note: I have a STAG version of this grip (no.26) and a larger version for later J-frames (no.33b) in smooth finish. This one has a slight wood grain pattern that looks more authentic with aged ivory color or brown wood colors. No. 33b can be sanded to fit the smaller frame also, and is smoother looking (better for pearl finishes). Send a tracing around your existing grips so I can match them to the best size mold. This is the basic or original smaller size, with somewhat flattened sides to be as trim as possible for concealed carry. There is also a special version that is slightly wider across, slightly longer, and has a "base swell" that helps support the gun, somewhat like a palm rest but not so large as to interfere with the normal concealed carry holster.
