Are you sending a tracing?:
YES! I want to assure proper size/shape. Tombstone is responsible for fit to tracing. Tracing will show hole pattern. **************************************
NO. I will be responsible if I choose the wrong size grip. I will measure my gun and compare to the listed specs. If I order a grip that is the wrong size or shape, I agree that it is NOT returnable. *****************************************************
I already mailed a tracing BEFORE I placed this order.
Drill screw holes? (Send tracing for location):
Yes, drill holes (be sure to send accurate pattern for location)
No, do not drill the screw holes (be SURE you really want this option!)

The sculpted Mark II/Mark III grips for Ruger 22 auto- loaders replace the standard small panels with a more hand-filling style, bridging the gap between a full target style and a plinking grip. The sculpting refers not to decoration (these are smooth) but to the contoured surface that provides subtle guidance for your thumb, fingers, and palm, while providing extra clearance to avoid pressure on your trigger finger (assuming right handed-shooting).

The amount of sculpting is such that you can still use the grips left handed if needed, and they will still fit nearly any holster that would accept the gun with factory grips. This is more or less a "stealth" target grip: it doesn't look like a target grip (no giant thumb rest or adjustable hand support, both of which would interfere with normal field carry holsters and standard storage "rugs"). But it gives you an edge over the shooter who is using a regular mass-produced factory "all-purpose" or plinker's grip.

Most of the routing work on the back has been done (yes, I know, Tombstone Grips are normally flat backed only but there is probably still a little fitting to be done to fit your particular gun). More of the frame is covered than by the factory style grip, yet not so much as with the more bulky target styles.

The grip uses your original screws. If you have lost them, you can get more from Ruger or from Brownell's.

This grip fits the Mark II or the Mark III but you will need to use a round file and make a notch for the magazine release on the Mark III. The material is easy to work. You won't have any problem making a notch if needed. Just hold the grip up to the gun (left panel) and mark the spot to file, use a medium or fine rat-tail or round file and remove just enough from the edge to clear the button.

Stock items (medallions, screws, specials) usually ship within 10 days.
I can't promise a specific ship date, as it will vary with circumstances.
Depending on the time of year and number of orders pending, average time to finish a grip order is 30 to 90 days. That's average, not a guarentee. They are all individually made to your specific order.

If you do not have time to wait then you may want to consider not ordering. I can only produce quality grips if I take the time necessary to finish your order

Be SURE to read the TERMS of SALE page, so you KNOW what you are getting.
