This bird's head style stag horn grip set fits the
High standard Sentinal 9-shot 22 rimfire revolver. It
uses the gun's own two screws, normally, which have their
own large ferrules.
I can't furnish this grip with the screws. You'll need to
use your own or obtain them elsewhere, just as with the
1911's and other guns that use screws which thread into
the frame. You may need to adjust the depth or size of
the screw hole, depending on the particular version and
year of your gun. If you want to send me your old grips
and screws, I can make these match the depth and diameter
of hole.
Some versions of the gun may have used a single screw,
and if so, you could then use the grips with an installed
single screw kit. I offer it as an option, but leave it
up to you to makes sure it will work on your gun. How
to tell: remove your grips and see if there is daylight
all the way through where the screws go into the frame,
and that the hammer spring does NOT flex into that area
when you cock and release the hammer. If you order the
installed mounting screws, I can't help it if your gun
does not allow their use...only you can tell, because you
have the gun to look at. Be sure before ordering.
These grips are of course quite curved and have very little
to measure accurately, but in general, they are about 1.37
inches across the top "corners" or widest points. The narrow
point across the "neck" is about 1.022 inches wide. The center
of the mounting hole is about 1.27/1.28 inches from the
lower front "peak" at the bottom of the grip, measured
directly from the hole center to that point. The width of
the grip across the screw hole is also about 1.27/1.28
inches. If you were to measure from the middle of the top,
to the greatest distance on the bottom, you'd get about
3.09/3.10 inches. Finally, measuring from the rear top
point or corner diagonally to the front, bottom point,
you would get about 3.01 inches.
