Checkered bird's head grips for High Standard 9-shot 22 Sentinel revolver. These only fit the models equipped with the bird's head frame shape. Don't order for the wrong Sentinel! These will not work on a square frame gun. These grips are secured by the two large screws which come with the gun, one in each grip panel (similar to certain autoloaders and derringers). Please note that while I offer pearl and other translucent effects for these and other checkered grips, I don't necessarily recommend them. Pearl looks best on a smooth surface. The checkering prevents a smooth polish, which would bring out the depth and translucence. Some folks like the appearance of pearl with checkering, but others don't...decide for yourself! Please note that with ALL of the grips, what you see is what you get as far as surface and shape. (Colors are optional, so are pearl effects and medallions). Don't order a checkered grip, and then make a note to "make it smooth", or vice versa. No can do. The grips are molded: they look just like the reverse image of the mold surface. If I have a smooth version of a grip, it will be listed separately. If not, I don't have it. Likewise with stag, which is also created by the mold. Sometimes folks will order a smooth grip, and note to "make it checkered" or "make it stag". Not possible. If I have it the other way, it will be a separate listing. If not, what you see is what you get. I do have a stag version of this grip, which you can order from its own separate listing.
