These grips are for various Harrington and Richardson
pocket pistols, mainly the little 22 rimfires made during
the 1880-1900 period. That doesn't mean they won't fit a
later .32 or .38 breaktop, or even a different make (since
there was considerably copying and contract manufacturing
by the various arms firms). Likewise, inventories of frames
were sometimes used to build a later model until the
old parts were used up.
So, there are two ways to find out if these grips fit
your gun (asking me won't be very helpful, as I just said
all I know about it). Take the grips off your gun and...
- ...measure them, compare to the info posted here. If
your grips are smaller, great. These will probably be
easily sanded a bit for a perfect fit.
- ...make a pencil tracing around your grips, and send
the original tracing to me (not a fax, not a photocopy). If
you also include a couple of ways to reach you other than
phone (e-mail address, mailing address, fax number) then
I can make a template from your drawing, test the mold with
it, and let you know whenever I drag myself back from the
shop at 2 in the morning (you don't really want me to call,
believe me! I'm deaf as a post and forget everything in
five minutes -- that's why I LOVE written communication of
any type and avoid the phone with a passion.)
