The Colt 25 ACP pocket pistol is similar to the design of
the Baby Browning, but the grips are different. These are smooth
grips, which can be fitted with medallions or ordered in
any color or effect.
These grips now come with the 2-56 mounting kit installed,
unless you request otherwise. There is also a spacer block
set to epoxy onto the back, so the grips won't turn. First you
need to sand them to fit snugly into the cut-out in the
grip frame, and sand or file a notch to clear the safety
and other operating parts. Instructions come with the kit.
If you order a pearl effect, it will over-ride the color
choice. Leave the color at natural ivory if you want one of the pearl
or abalone effects, which have their own translucent colors.
The grips may fit other small pocket autos. Compare your gun grips to
these dimensions to find out:
- Both grips are the same size; height 2.2 inches, width 1.3 inches
- Distance from front edge of grip to mounting hole centerline = 1.0 inches
- Distance from top of grip to mounting hole centerline = 1.1 inches (centered vertically)
- Typical thickness = 0.2 inches (you can sand to make them thinner if desired)
