This set of smooth grips is sculpted to help provide "finger
memory" to the shooter, guiding the trigger finger with a
gentle trough and clearing the left side for fingertips
to grip the frame, while padding the palm area on the
right panel. Yet, the grips do not have extensive thumb
rest extension or palm rest, so they can be used in
holsters and carried without discomfort.
This set of grips can be used on the Mark II or the Mark III
models, simply by making a notch for the Mark III magazine release
on the left panel. The top of the left panel may require some
additional relief to fit perfectly on your gun. This is easy to
do with a simple Moto Tool or similar rotary bit.
The hole spacing on the left panel is 2-9/16 inches center
to center. The bottom hole is about 0.7 inches from the
bottom edge, but this is curved and can be sanded to provide
more clearance for the magazine if desired. The hole spacing
on the right panel is different, and is 2-15/16 inches center
to center, with the bottom hole about 0.4 inches from the
bottom edge. The lower inside edge is relieved on the right
panelk, on the back, for clearance of the magazine.
