This is a 3/4-in long No. 4 brass wood screw, oval head shape with slot, made for securing buttplates and grip caps. This is the size I prefer to use when making my own mounting holes. Some grip caps and buttplates have larger holes in them, but if you order from Tombstone normally you can specify whether or not you want a mounting hole in them. If not, you can easily make your own. I provide this screw with most grip caps and butt plates unless there's a reason that a larger screw needs to be used.
