This little set of grips fits the Hopkins and Allen XL
.32 S&W caliber solid frame pocket revolver and possibly
others (check the dimensions, compare to your gun). There
is no logo in the top portion. A small (1/2 inch)
medallion could fit this area, but nothing larger.
The particular model from which the grips were copied is
in my collection and is a folding hammer pocket revolver,
versions of which were made from about 1884 to 1940. To
load, the lever (vertical bar in front of the cylinder,
mounted in the frame) is depressed and the cylinder rod
is pulled out, so you can dump all the cases at once. Or
you can poke each case out through an open port in the
recoil shield on the right without removing the cylinder.
Loading can be done with the cylinder removed or through
this little port.
