Are you sending a tracing?:
YES! I want to assure proper size/shape. Tombstone is responsible for fit to tracing. Tracing will show hole pattern. **************************************
NO. I will be responsible if I choose the wrong size grip. I will measure my gun and compare to the listed specs. If I order a grip that is the wrong size or shape, I agree that it is NOT returnable. *****************************************************
I already mailed a tracing BEFORE I placed this order.

This is a replica of an original factory Browning standard Buckmark grip, with a slight wood grain pattern but otherwise smooth and having the "Buckmark" logo in one panel. The left grip has a thumb rest design.

The originals from which the mold was made were built of wood, not plastic, so these faithful copies have a slight wood grain. They look nice in ivory but even better in a walnut brown color. The backside is flat but will need to be lightly relieved with a rotary bit tool such as a Dremel Moto-tool, to clear the operating controls and to match projections on the frame which help keep the grip locked in position.

The easy way to mark these points for relief is to "paint" the ends of the projecting frame parts with a Magic Marker pen, and then press the grip against the frame in the proper alignment. This makes a dot on the back of the grip. Just lightly relieve this with a rotary bur, and try again until the grip fits flat without any interference. Be sure to cycle the gun, checking the safety and trigger operation. Often a tiny bit more depth will spell the difference between the gun working normally, and a malfunction.

Browning Buckmarks do have some loose or lightly held parts behind the grips, so when you remove them from your gun, do it over a spread-out sheet or similar light colored broad surface. That way, anything that falls out will be easily noticed and found (unlike parts that fall on the carpet or down a heating register!).

Stock items (medallions, screws, specials) usually ship within 10 days.
I can't promise a specific ship date, as it will vary with circumstances.
Depending on the time of year and number of orders pending, average time to finish a grip order is 30 to 90 days. That's average, not a guarentee. They are all individually made to your specific order.

If you do not have time to wait then you may want to consider not ordering. I can only produce quality grips if I take the time necessary to finish your order

Be SURE to read the TERMS of SALE page, so you KNOW what you are getting.
