This is a 50th Anniversary style checkered grip with the oval logo molded in. Be sure to check the dimensions or send a pencil outline around your existing grips because this grip may fit a number of different Rugers. The original to create this mold came from a Ruger Vaquero, but there is a wide variation in sizes of grip frames. Please note that the size of the oval logo means that if you select a medallion, it probably will not cover the entire logo. A 3/4-inch or larger medallion will have to be mounted relatively far back from the front edge of the grip, or else it would be too close to the top and bottom edge. If you want a medallion, you may wish to consider a different model of grip having either the standard round logo or no logo (smooth grip).

Note: the top line of the grip is not parallel to the base line. The front corner is .025 inches higher from the base line compared to the point where the grip begins to curve downward.
