Are you sending a tracing?:
YES! I want to assure proper size/shape. Tombstone is responsible for fit to tracing. Tracing will show hole pattern. **************************************
NO. I will be responsible if I choose the wrong size grip. I will measure my gun and compare to the listed specs. If I order a grip that is the wrong size or shape, I agree that it is NOT returnable. *****************************************************
I already mailed a tracing BEFORE I placed this order.

This kit is for the Llama IIIa .380 ACP 7/8-scale 1911-style pistol (except it is a blow-back action, rather than using the swinging link locking system). The factory-style grips are most nearly like the original when ordered in ebony color (except much stronger, being solid polyurethane rather than skeletonized, injection molded thermoplastic).

spacers on back of grips These grips are just very slightly thicker than the original at 0.20 inches average, but you can sand the back to make them as thin as you like, right up to the point where the mounting screws protrude too far through and bind up the magazine! (Right, you don't want to do that.)

The kit comes with two optional spacers, shaped to fit (with light sanding) precisely into the magazine cut-out areas. You can tell which side fits by comparing to the gun. When you have them sanded so they fit into the cut-outs closely, secure them to the back of each grip panel by following the instructions that come with the kit (including the important step of cleaning and priming the back of the grips with acetone).

The grip panels can be used with only the original screws but the spacers help adsorb recoil and reduce the side thrust on the screws, which in turn helps keep the grips snug and solidly attached. Up to you, though, if you don't want to go to the extra work, since the grips will probably work fine if you leave out the spacers. I would recommend doing it. Not that much work for more peace of mind, knowing that the grips are as securely held as practical (not as securely as possible since you COULD epoxy glue them to the gun if you really wanted to!). Let's say, as secure as anyone could ever need and still be able to get them off again. spacers on back of grips

Stock items (medallions, screws, specials) usually ship within 10 days.
I can't promise a specific ship date, as it will vary with circumstances.
Depending on the time of year and number of orders pending, average time to finish a grip order is 30 to 90 days. That's average, not a guarentee. They are all individually made to your specific order.

If you do not have time to wait then you may want to consider not ordering. I can only produce quality grips if I take the time necessary to finish your order

Be SURE to read the TERMS of SALE page, so you KNOW what you are getting.
