Are you sending a tracing?:
YES! I want to assure proper size/shape. Tombstone is responsible for fit to tracing. Tracing will show hole pattern. **************************************
NO. I will be responsible if I choose the wrong size grip. I will measure my gun and compare to the listed specs. If I order a grip that is the wrong size or shape, I agree that it is NOT returnable. *****************************************************
I already mailed a tracing BEFORE I placed this order.

Staghorn grips for the Jennings pocket auto 22 pistol. These are slightly thicker than factory grips for better control. You can sand them thinner if desired.

Please note that these are for later model guns with a deep notch on the left grip top and a plastic safety. Early models with a metal safety that moves forward and backward (instead of up and down) use a shallow notch, found on grip no. 142d. Be sure to order the right one for your gun. Compare the pictures of the notch and see which one works on your pistol.

The original Jennings pistols use the grip with shallow safety notch. Jennings himself lost his FFL and organized a company called Calwestco, which had the new license although he still was associated with it. When this business failed, it was reorganized as Bryco, which was sued out of business in 2003. The shop foreman (Paul Jimenez) bought the assets at auction and started the business called Jimenez.

So the later Jennings, Calwestco, Bryco, and Jimenez guns are essentially the same and all use this grip.

These grips mount using the original two screws that come with the gun. A grip mount kit won't work as the screw can't pass through the magazine.

The left grip and right grip are the same size, but have different details at the top. The right grip has tapered gap (0.439-inch at top, 0.41-inch at the bottom) at the top.
    The dimensions are:
  • Width across top edge = 1.75 inches
  • Width across the base = 1.25 inches
  • Width above base curve = 1.5 inches
  • Height of screw hole center from base = 1.35 inches
  • Distance from screw hole center to front edge = 0.83 inches
  • Length of front edge = 2.3 inches
  • Relief on back of left grip, width at top = 0.9 inches
  • Relief on back of left grip, height of 1st step = .38 inches
  • Relief on back of left grip, overall height = 0.8 inches
  • Height of front edge= 2.37 inches
  • Screw hole size: .272 head, .1075 shank.

Stock items (medallions, screws, specials) usually ship within 10 days.
I can't promise a specific ship date, as it will vary with circumstances.
Depending on the time of year and number of orders pending, average time to finish a grip order is 30 to 90 days. That's average, not a guarentee. They are all individually made to your specific order.

If you do not have time to wait then you may want to consider not ordering. I can only produce quality grips if I take the time necessary to finish your order

Be SURE to read the TERMS of SALE page, so you KNOW what you are getting.
