This is a replica of the grips found on the High Standard HD-Military model which was used by the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) during World War II. It is similar but not identical to the wood checkered grips used for making the 13b model. The 108e is copied from an original polymer grip which used brass ferrules for the screws, two per grip panel. You can order this grip with or without the ferrules installed.
Here are the dimensions to compare with your gun:
Right panel
Length of rear edge = 4.5 inches
Width across the top = 1.6 inches
Width across the bottom = 2.0 inches
Bottom hole center distance above base = 1.03 inches
Distance between hole centers = 2.72 inches
Left panel
Length of rear edge = 4.45 inches
Width across top = 1.6 inches
Width across the bottom = 2.0 inches
Spacing between hole centers = 2.82 inches
The original style would include the brass ferrules and ebony (black) solid color, but you can order anything you wish of course. The originals did not have a medallion, but you can add any medallion including the 1940's US Eagle brass/bronze medallion.
Stock items (medallions, screws, specials) usually ship within 10 days.
I can't promise a specific ship date, as it will vary with circumstances. Depending on the time of year and number of orders pending, average time to finish a grip order is 30 to 90 days. That's average, not a quote. They are all individually made to your specific order.
If you can't wait, please don't order! I'm working as fast as possible.
