This is a smooth, one-piece kit (two panels and spacer) that is a little larger than some of the other 1860 grip versions. A tracing of your gun frame is important for me to be able to check the shape. Use a regular 3 x 5 index card. Push one corner of the card into the corner under the hammer and behind the trigger, top front grip corner.
Hold it there while you trace the rest of the frame, with the grip removed and the back strap in place.
Cut out your tracing. Hold it up to the gun. If it fits just like the back side of a grip, you got it right and I can use it to check the grip size and shape. But if your cut-out tracing doesn't fit on the frame of your gun, trim it up or tape on some material and recut until it does.
You can order the grip as a 1 piece kit or as a screw
mounted set. It may fit some other guns such as Ruger
super Blackhawks or Freedom Arms revolvers, but the only way to know is to compare with a good tracing, or carefully check the dimensions listed against your gun.
